Dont forget about "Poem in your Pocket Day" - Poem in Your Pocket Day ,
and that is this Thursday, the 29th of April.
From the site: " The idea is simple: select a poem you love and carry it with you to share with co-workers, family, and friends on April 29, 2010. Poems from pockets will be unfolded throughout the day with events in parks, libraries, schools, workplaces, and bookstores. "
Why not online too? I will post my favorites on Thursday. I meant to make a button, but I haven't as of yet :p because I'm a lazy sort of girl these days. But I encourage you to participate and please let me know if you do-I love poems of all shaped sizes and cadences~and think poetry choices say alot about the person, dont you?
Here's another one by Roo:

FAITH
I took your
faith to heart today
Hung round my
neck on silver chain
A Celtic
cross infused with pain
Trust no more
for you it holds
I took your
faith for my own
And held the
cross as angels whispered
Soft spoken words
belied their sorrow
for the god
you once believed in
The sky,
immense, bore down dark clouds
And told me of
the prayers unanswered
Heaven is
just a lullaby
Sung to those
who aren’t yet born
I felt the
pain of faith betrayed
And the
knowing of all hope lost
The sins of
fathers and sons are weighed
Upon your
heavy guilt fed cross
I took your
faith to hold your soul
Cold and stark
upon my breast
Edges crimson
and colored hollow
My heart beat
full of sin and angst
I sought to
take your faith undone
And weave it
into tangled beauty
Intricate web
of sweet redemption
The saving
grace is always love.
PS...I know this one isn't my usual flavor, but i have my own reasons, and I think poetry is a mechanism for sharing even the hardest emotions in a way made understandable to others...
